The FINN-POWER Group …………. Dedicated To Quality
FINN-POWER History In 1969, few people paid much attention when Jorma Lillbacka began
manufacturing his line of Finn-Power swaging machines in an old school house in
the Finnish countryside. But from this humble beginning, Lillbacka Powerco Oy’s
lines of radial swaging machines, and later, sheet metal fabrication equipment, have grown into industry leaders in the markets they serve.
Hydraulic hose swaging and hose cutting machines were the
first products manufactured by Lillbacka Powerco Oy, which has
since evolved to capture 60% of the world market with its hose equipment. Lillbacka Powerco Oy
manufactures thousands of the hydraulic swaging and hose cutting machines annually -- 95% -- of
this equipment is exported to approximately 60 countries from the company's factory in Finland. Finn
-Power USA, Inc. is responsible for sales, marketing and service of swaging machines and related equipment throughout North and South America.

In 1980, Finn-Power Oy put its hydraulic and engineering expertise to work and
developed the company's first turret punch press. Finn-Power Oy, the parent
company in Finland, applied many of the same principles which were perfected
through the company's development of its hose swaging equipment to the design
of the new sheet metal turret punch press. The first Finn-Power model, TP-250,
was unveiled in June, 1983 at the EMO Exhibition in Paris, France. The hydraulic
turret punch press line of products has been well received throughout the metalworking industry.
The success of the Finn-Power turret punch press line fueled the company’s aggressive entry into the U.S. market. In 1985,
the company opened a facility in Illinois, to house its North and South American sales, marketing, applications, service, parts,
accounting and administrative staff and to provide space for a product warehouse and showroom.
Within four years, Finn-Power outgrew this first North American facility and relocated in 1989 to its current Schaumburg,
Illinois, facility, located minutes from O'Hare International Airport. This new facility allowed Finn-Power to expand its various
departments and house a complete assembly and showroom area for its North and South American customers.

Finn-Power has a separate facility in Arlington Heights, IL, which now houses its
service and spare parts staff and inventory. This location also maintains the
accounting and executive staff providing all operations in one facility. The facility
maintained by Finn-Power in Schaumburg is utilized by sales, marketing, applications
and training personnel as the company‘s demonstration showroom and training facility.
Finn-Power now maintains sales and service facilities in the Atlanta, GA and Los
Angeles, CA, areas as well as a sales and service facility in Toronto, Ontario – Finn
-Power Canada, Ltd. – to better service our customers needs. Various factory
trained personnel maintained by Finn-Power’s distributors are also available for on site service response.
In addition to Finn-Power North American growth, the company has expanded its production capability. The Finn-Power
products are manufactured and serviced by a world-wide work force in six manufacturing plants to service the needs of
Finn-Power’s growing list of international customers. Other locations include Finn-Power GmbH, Germany; Finn-Power Sarl,
France; Finn-Power Italia, S.R.L., Italy and Finn-Power Iberica, Spain.

In 1987, Finn-Power introduced an integrated turret punch press/right angle
shear combination to the sheet metal fabrication market. This unique, versatile
and highly-productive machine, the Shear Genius, signaled Finn-Power’s entry
into the world of sheet metal flexible manufacturing. Today, Finn-Power is
recognized as the industry leader in flexible manufacturing cells and systems.

In 1993 Finn-Power took the next step to
complete its line of flexible manufacturing equipment with the acquisition of an automated bender equipment factory located in
Italy. Now called Finn-Power Italia, S.R.L., the company is producing world class automatic bending machines that are being
sold worldwide through the Finn-Power Group. Finn-Power Italia also produces an extensive range of press brakes for all
production needs, both hydraulic and servo electric.

In 2000, Finn-Power introduced a new
combination turret punch press/right angle shear technology named the Shear Brilliance. By combining a very long X
traverse, four sheet clamps and the extremely high positioning speed allowed by linear drives, more functions – punching, forming,
tapping, marking and shearing – can be performed flexibly as a single multi-purpose work stage and with a single clamping.

|
In 2002 at EuroBlech, Finn-Power introduced its latest product, Laser Brilliance, which provides a totally
new solution for integrated punching / laser cutting. Following the breakthrough of integrated turret punch press / laser
cutting machines, and the rapid development of linear servo drive applications in machine tools, Finn-Power has
combined the benefits of both solutions in a single machine tool. Thus a similar leap in manufacturing speed is now available in combined punching /laser cutting as was introduced through the Shear Brilliance integrated right angle shear.

Sheet metal fabrication equipment includes the Night Train FMS; Shear Brilliance, Laser Brilliance, Laser Punch FMC, FPL-6 high-speed laser work center, high-precision servo electric E5 work center, automated benders, robotic press brakes, and
other equipment.
In the 30 plus years since Finn-Power was founded, the company has earned a reputation as an innovator in the sheet metal
fabrication industry. Through the introduction of numerous design breakthroughs, Finn-Power's world-class, machines, cells
and systems have lead the way for improvement and increased productivity in manufacturing for many different industries.
