A Huge Success for Finn-Power

Hannover EuroBLECH exhibition, the 18th International Sheet Metal Working Technology Exhibition, was held in Hannover, Germany on October 26-30, 2004. Once again, Finn-Power displayed that it is a progressive full-range supplier that is able to meet both today's and tomorrow's requirements of proactive manufacturers. The five-day trade show turned out to be a huge success for Finn-Power.

This year Finn-Power presented many aspects of top-class sheet metal working technology, which included, the new C5 Compact Express, a new generation of the servo-electric Express Bender EBe, a new generation of the Shear Genius FMC, and the ultra-fast L6 flying optics laser.

"After a few years of struggle, the fabricating industry has definitely started to rev up," observes Arto Pohto, president and CEO of Finn-Power Oy. "During the past few years, exhibitions have mainly been sales promotion rather than actual sales events, but this year it was all different. The volume of orders received during this exhibition doubled our previous all-time high."

According to Mikko Lindström, president, Finn-Power International, Inc., the new Shear Genius® was a true eye-catcher at the Finn-Power booth because of its outstanding speed and versatile capabilities, as well as its sleek, modern industrial design. "Finn-Power developed the integrated right angle shear concept about 17 years ago," explains Lindström. "The Shear Genius concept is embraced by hundreds of fabricators all over the world. With the dramatically improved level of performance, the Shear Genius® future is bound to be even greater than its illustrious past."

Large crowds visited the Finn-Power booth each day of the exhibition. The volume of orders received during EuroBLECH doubled Finn-Power's previous all-time high.

Live entertainment helped set a festive mood during the show.
