New Technology at Nu-Way Industries

Nu-Way Industries recently purchased the Finn-Power Night Train FMS, Shear Brilliance FMC, an in-line Express Bender, and a robotic press brake.

    New Finn-Power customer
Nu-Way Industries, Des Plaines, IL, has hosted many visitors the past few months. On May 22, the PMA Chicago District sponsored a tour for approximately 60 PMA members to Nu-Way Industries, Inc. And on June 25, over 70 guests attended an Open House at
Nu-Way and Finn-Power’s Customer Support facility in Arlington Heights and Showroom in Schaumburg.

What’s the reason for all the interest? Recently, Nu-Way acquired state-of-the art automated sheet metal fabrication equipment from Finn-Power International, Inc. This equipment includes:

A Night Train FMS (Material Management System)
Shear Brilliance FMC (Punch/shear combination featuring linear drive technology; an unloader, stacking system with buffer storage; and unloading robot)
In-line Express Bender (automated bender)
Robotic Press Brake

Nu-Way Industries is a leader in the design and fabrication of precision metal products. Founded in 1968, Nu-Way has grown from a small job shop to a vertically integrated, technology-focused provider of literally thousands of high-quality precision metal parts, metal housings and electronic enclosures.

Nu-Way serves a worldwide market with its engineered / manufactured products to customers in the U.S., Brazil, Canada, China, England, Germany, India, Ireland, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, Poland, Spain and Taiwan.

PMA Tour

Last May, Patrick Canning, vice president, led a PMA-sponsored tour through the Nu-Way facility. Approximately 60 PMA members participated in the tour.
