A two-day training seminar on the FPL-6 Laser Work Center was recently held at Finn-Power International’s showroom in Schaumburg, IL, for the sales force of Finn-Power International and Finn-Power Canada. Conducting the seminar was Johannes Ulrich, manager, Laser Division, Frank Heyerick, branch manager of Finn-Power’s Technology Center in Belgium, and Jan Heyerick, also from the Technology Center.

The seminar covered such topics as laser theory, technology, resonators, and basic features and benefits of the FPL-6. The salesmen were also introduced to the teleservice feature of the laser that is connected to a Finn-Power help desk. The teleservice feature allows service technicians and engineers to monitor, diagnose, and troubleshoot any potential problems in real time.

“We’ve received a great deal of interest on the FPL-6 from our customers,” explains Patrick Canning, vice president, sales & marketing. “This seminar has been extremely useful in keeping our regional sales managers up to date on the latest laser technology.”
