FEIMAFE Trade Fair in
Brazil Pays Big Dividends

   Last May, Finn-Power participated in Brazil’s FEIMAFE Trade Fair with its dealer ASAMAQ by exhibiting a Shear Genius FMC. Representing Finn-Power were Mikko Lindström, president; Bob Kolcz, director, marketing & corporate communications; and Dan Marino, applications engineer. A start-up team from Finland included Hannu Luoma, repair center supervisor, and Jani Laikkoja, service engineer. Representing Finn-Power USA was Jeff Johnson, general manager.
 

   A whopping total of 10 Finn-Power machines were sold during the show, including an FPL6 Laser Work Center, two Shear Genius FMCs, an Express 6.4, and six press brakes. According to Mikko Lindström, president, the Brazilian market continues to be a strong emerging market for Finn-Power. “Our Brazilian dealer ASAMAQ continues to do an excellent job of representing Finn-Power throughout the country,” says Lindström. “Each year the Finn-Power name becomes better recognized as more of our machines are placed in the field.”

FINN-POWER ADDS APPLICATION SUPPORT IN BRAZIL    Finn-Power has recently announced the appointment of Ramiro Martin Fernandez as its Applications Engineer Coordinator for Brazil and Argentina. In this new position Ramiro’s responsibilities will include on-site training and software support.    Prior to joining Finn-Power, Ramiro spent 11 years as an industrial engineer and six years as an industrial engineer supervisor. “Ramiro’s extensive background in the metalworking industry is a great asset to us in this very important market area,” explains Mikko Lindström, president.    Ramiro has an office at the facility of ASAMAQ, Finn-Power’s dealer for Brazil. He resides in Sâo Paulo with his wife and child.    Welcome to Finn-Power Ramiro!
